Just got a new iMac. It’s speedy and has a much bigger monitor than I’ve been using. If you want a gushy description, I’ll just refer you to Apple.

One question: Why go for an iMac instead of a MacBook?

Great question, Nick. It’s been so long since I’ve had a desktop. I missed the big screen and the tidier workstation that the iMac design allows. If your question was spurred by the nature of our jobs, well, I haven’t need to be all that mobile lately, and for when I do, I have the work-issued laptop. A stationary workstation suits my personal computing just great.
